Heritage Springs to Open an Alzheimer's/Dementia Care Community in Montoursville, PA

Bringing Memory Care to Williamsport Area

Heritage Springs Memory Care is opening a specialized living community in Montoursville, PA for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia. Building off the high standards of its memory care community in Lewisburg, Heritage Springs Memory Care in Montoursville will provide area seniors suffering from memory impairments with a safe, yet independent living environment. The new community is scheduled to open Summer 2019.

The new-build community on Old Cement Road in Montoursville will house private and semi-private suites for up to 60 residents between two neighborhoods. Using the same innovative building design as the Lewisburg Community, Heritage Springs Memory Care in Montoursville will create a calm, safe, and engaging environment for its residents and their guests. In addition to the resident suites, each neighborhood will have a dining area, private dining room, activity room, old-fashioned soda shop, sunroom, and enclosed courtyard and garden with picturesque views of the River Valley.

We receive numerous resident applications from families in the Williamsport area, so it made sense to open a second location here, allowing residents and families to stay close together”, says Heritage Springs President/CEO, Colleen Fritz, RN, PCHA. “We look forward to welcoming our new residents and their loved ones to Heritage Springs in Montoursville. We know by offering a secure community with freedom and a feeling of home, we provide a better quality of life option for these seniors, and can bring peace of mind and comfort to their families,” added Fritz.

A ribbon cutting and open house is being planned for Thursday, August 1st from 4p - 7p. All will be welcome to come tour the new facility, meet the staff, and learn what makes Heritage Springs the gold standard for memory care.

Heritage Springs Memory Care in Montoursville is scheduled to open Summer 2019. They are currently accepting resident applications. Inquiries about the new building and the application process can call 570-546-8000 or be sent to ryan@heritagespringsmemorycare.com.
